Do I have to pay admission if I don’t want to walk through the maze?

Yes, there is a maze grounds admission whether you want to get lost or not!

How big is the maze?

The maze is over 9 acres total. Within the maze there are 4 phases. Phase 1 is shorter and more geared toward the directionally challenged. Phase 2 is longer. There are 2 smaller “kiddie” mazes. Within these mazes you can read the story of Jack and the Cornstalk or The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

Will I get lost?

Most likely! That’s part of the fun! At the entrance of the maze you have the option of taking a “passport”. The ten questions on the passport will help guide you through the maze.

Is the maze planted in corn?

No. We plant our maze in sorghum, a crop used primarily for cattle feed. Sorghum looks similar to corn but does not actually have corn cobs on it. The reason sorghum is used instead of corn is because it is stronger and more tolerant to Florida’s unpredictable weather.

Do you have a pumpkin patch with U-pick pumpkins?

No. Pumpkins are very difficult to grow in Florida due to the humidity. However, we do have pumpkins available for purchase in our “Country Store” barn. You are sure to find the perfect pumpkin for carving, decorating, etc.

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking is only permitted in our parking lot area. If you are seen smoking, within the maze grounds, we will assume you are on fire and take appropriate action.

Is alcohol sold or permitted?

No. Alcohol is not permitted within the maze grounds.

Are pets allowed?

No pets, please. Service animals only.

Is the maze wheelchair friendly?

Yes. the maze and maze grounds are generally wheelchair friendly. But just in case, check with us before your visit to get up to date conditions.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, you may bring your own food, however we will have delicious food on site available for purchase. We have shaded picnic tables available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

When does the maze close?

Ticket sales end 1 hour prior to closing time. Guests are not required to exit until posted closing time.

Is there a group rate?

No, there is no group rate. $1 off coupons can be found at participating stores, restaurants, etc. Coupons cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other offers.

Is the maze lighted at night?

No. The maze is not lighted at night. In order to enter the maze at night you must have at least one lighting device per group. For example: flashlight, glow stick, battery powered lantern, etc. Lighters are not considered maze lighting devices and are not permitted. Glow sticks are available for purchase.

Is the maze haunted?

No. The maze is not haunted, however is pretty spooky at night. The focus of our fall maze is fun for the whole family. We ask that you please respect others and not intentionally scare or spook them within the maze.

When is the busiest time?

The last two weekends in October are usually our busiest. If you choose to visit during our last two weekends you may experience longer wait times at some attractions. If you would like to avoid crowds and long lines join us on earlier in the season or on a Friday evening.

How long does it take to walk the maze?

Our 9- acre maze is broke into 4 different phases. Phase 1 and 2 are larger and take around 15-30 minutes to navigate. If your sense of direction is challenged you may be lost for longer… But getting lost is part of the fun! If you would like to take a shorter easier route, check out our 2 kiddie mazes featuring the story of Jack and The Cornstalk and The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin on large story boards. These smaller mazes can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on whether or not you read the story.
